Have you ever been to a wine tasting with panini’s? Now’s your chance. One June 26th, we will be pairing paninis and wines to create a new world of flavor. In this post we will go over the details you need to learn more about this event!

Pairings

This event will consist of six different pairings which can be seen below:

Breakfast Pairings

  • Tex-Mex Black Bean Veggie Press (Meatless) paired with La Maldita Garnacha Rioja

    • Why: Garnacha offers soft tannins and red fruit that suit the earthy black beans and roasted veggies.

  • Spicy Chorizo & Egg Panini paired with La Maldita Garnacha Rioja

    • Why: Fruit forward-medium bodied profile with spice notes complements the smoky, savory flavors of the chorizo and the richness of the egg.

A Brut Break : The Occasion Brut, Sparkling

Take a palette break and go backwards from red back to white with a Brut, apples, and cucumber

Brunch Pairings

  • Grilled Cheese with Jalapeños paired with Oxford Landing Sauvignon Blanc

    • Comfort meets spice: Sauvignon Blanc’s high acidity slices through the richness of the cheese, acting like a palate cleanser between bites. Grassy, herbal qualities echo the green zing of the jalapenos.

  • Classic Cuban Sandwich paired with The Occasion Chardonnay

    • Why: The Chardonnay richness can stand up to and balance the salty ham, pork, and pickles.

  • Ham & Cheese Pressed Sandwich paired with Block Nine Pinot Noir

    • Why: A light Pinot Noir enhances the ham’s savory notes without overwhelming it.

  • Tex-Mex Chicken Fajita Melt paired with Michael David Freakshow Zinfandel

    • Why: The smoky chipotle-lime mayo and grilled chicken pair well with a fruit-forward Zinfandel that can handle spice and char.

Event Details

The Pressed Pairing event will take place onJune 26th from 6:30pm to 8pm (doors open at 6:15pm). The event will be located at Violet’s Venom Brewery (413 Broadway Kissimmee, FL 34741).
